Staying at Foreshore House was an absolute delight! The moment I stepped into my room, I was greeted by the most comfortable bed I've ever laid on. Waking up to the breathtaking view of the sea right outside my window was truly invigorating. The sound of the waves crashing against the shore was the perfect lullaby to fall asleep to each night. As a cycling enthusiast, the beautiful coastline surrounding the area provided me with endless opportunities to explore. The conservatory was my favorite spot to enjoy breakfast, with a mesmerizing view of France on the horizon. The small number of guests ensured a peaceful atmosphere, and I never had to worry about noise or crowding. The owner was incredibly accommodating, allowing me to choose another room if I had any issues with sleeping. The amenities were top-notch, with big TVs and comfortable leather furniture in the front rooms. The convenience of free laundry was an added bonus. Despite the lack of a train station, I found the location functional and peaceful, perfect for a car owner like myself. Of course, no place is perfect, and perhaps the only drawbacks were that Foreshore House was originally designed for power station workers and it may not reach 5-star standards. However, these minor inconveniences were hardly noticeable when compared to the overall amazing experience. I highly recommend Foreshore House and I can't wait to return for another stay.

Shared lounge was a delightful spot to avoid socializing, and the garden was so peaceful. because I was the only one there. Perfect for introverts!
Who needs a train station anyway? It's not like I wanted easy access to transportation.

Waking up to the sound of the sea and falling asleep to it was absolutely epic! The conservatory was the perfect spot to enjoy breakfast while taking in the breathtaking scenery. The rooms on the lower ground floor were well-protected from the coastal weather, ensuring a quiet and cozy stay. Despite being a power station worker's accommodation, I found it functional and peaceful. It was great to have free laundry facilities and the big TVs were a bonus. The place was never crowded, with only six guests at a time, and everyone was respectful and considerate. The owner was responsive and attentive to any concerns. The rooms at Foreshore House had a really homely vibe, and I loved the cozy atmosphere they had. It felt like I was staying at a friend's house rather than in a hotel. Plus, having a microwave in the room was super handy for heating up snacks and leftovers.
I wasn't a big fan of the shared bathroom situation. It's just my personal preference, though, and I'm sure others wouldn't mind it at all.

I recently stayed at a beautiful coastline property and had an amazing experience. The place was so spacious that most of the time, I felt like I had it all to myself. I highly recommend this place for cycling or if you have a car. The rooms on the lower ground floor were perfect, as they had a protective bank and high wall against the coastal weather. Noise was not an issue here, even during a gale. The owner was very accommodating and allowed me to choose any room if I had trouble sleeping. Breakfast in the conservatory was a delightful experience, with breathtaking views of the sea, regardless of the tide. The property only had six guests at a time, so it felt peaceful and quiet. The rooms were well-equipped with big TVs and comfortable leather furniture. The owner was also responsive to any issues via text.
